Frequently asked questions

What resume file formats are supported?

OneATS supports PDF, Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx), and plain text (.txt) files.

How does OneATS handle duplicate candidate resumes?

The parser checks incoming candidates against existing records by email address and primary phone number. If a duplicate is detected, you are notified and can choose to update the existing record or create a new application.

Does the parser recognize Indian resume conventions?

Yes. The parsing engine is optimized for Indian phone numbers (+91), regional educational degrees (B.Tech, BE, MBA, BCA, MCA, etc.), and local employment conventions including notice periods and CTC references.

Can recruiters edit parsed data if needed?

Absolutely. Recruiters can quickly edit, add, or override any extracted field before saving the candidate record.
