Job application forms that candidates finish
Ask only what you need. Pick a quick or detailed form, choose which fields are required, and add screening questions for each job. Candidates apply in minutes without creating an account, and answers that rule someone out are flagged for you.
Shorter forms, more applicants
Use a quick form for high-volume roles; detailed forms when deep data is needed.
Deal-breakers flagged
Knockout questions catch missing qualifications before you spend time reviewing.
No account needed
Candidates apply smoothly without passwords; resume autofill does the typing.
Form formats
Quick or detailed forms, company-wide or per job
Choose between Quick apply (resume and contact essentials) and Detailed application forms. Control which fields are shown, hidden, optional, or required, and customize forms per job opening.

- Per-job overrides to match specific hiring requirements
- Standard fields include notice period, current CTC, and location
Screening
Screening questions for each job opening
Add role-specific questions to screen for mandatory qualifications, work permits, certifications, and technical proficiencies. Select from short answer, yes/no, multiple choice, and numerical inputs.
- Multiple question formats (Yes/No, single choice, text, numbers)
- Mark critical questions as mandatory
- Responses display prominently on candidate profile review
Knockout logic
Knockouts that flag, not silently discard
Identify deal-breakers without losing human oversight. When a candidate selects an ineligible answer, OneATS flags the knockout and ranks them lower. Automatic rejections are opt-in per question, after a delay you choose.
- Visual knockout badges on applicant review cards
- Knockout answers factor directly into match scoring
- Automated polite rejection emails with configurable delay

Frequently asked questions
Can candidates apply without creating an account?
Yes. Candidates apply directly through your careers page without registering a username or password. Resume autofill parses their uploaded document to minimize typing.
Do knockout questions automatically reject candidates?
By default, knockout answers simply flag the candidate and rank them lower on your list. Automatic rejections are strictly opt-in per question, dispatched after a custom delay you specify.
Can different jobs have different screening questions?
Yes. While company-level default form settings establish baseline fields, each job can have its own customized screening and knockout questions.
Is the application form mobile-friendly?
Yes. Application forms are fully responsive, allowing candidates to easily upload resumes from cloud storage or mobile files and submit applications in seconds.
